Update: Plugins

I sat down and updated the plugins today.

LWC is working, anti-firespread is working, /spawn and /home are working, weather control is working, I believe bedtime is working.

Multiverse keeps running into a critical error so 39f's is unavailable. Nether and the end work, however the nether portals will always teleport you to these the same central portal located in some guy's castles in both areas.

I'll try to figure out what's wrong with multiverse, but no promise on how quick it will be.

Besides that, have you heard anything from cc lately? According to his statistics his last visit to the forum was over 2 weeks ago.

I have not heard from CC in awhile, which is why I just sorta took it upon myself to do this. I'll look into rolling back skyfleet, I believe I have the save files from before the damage was done so i can probably copy paste the builds back in once I have multiverse working again. I'll check into the files as soon as I get home and finish my taxes (waiting till the last day ftw).

I have a file from 3-1 that generated maps where it seems skyfleet is intact. Since the server was down for most of March and April I'm going to set the current map as a backup and upload the map I downloaded on 3-1. It's going to take several hours to do so though and as such the server will be down for up to 24 hours (I won't be uploading till I go to bed tonight and it will take between 9-15 hours depending on upload rates.)

As soon as it's uploaded I'll have the server back online. I'll keep looking into the multiverse situation.

On a side note I discovered why multiverse hasn't been working... it has not been updated yet! So I guess we are waiting for awhile for 39f's to be active again.

I do however know of another server that uses multiple private maps and as such I may inquire as to which plugin they use in order to achieve this effect.

I can't wait to get back to the sever! Haven't actually played MC since it went down.

I talked briefly to CC about a week ago. He's having some personal troubles, and if memory serves, I believe another move may have been mentioned.
As far as the server goes, I believe he planned on keeping it down until everything was alright; but I think he'd be more than happy with your progress here Ang!
Personal reasons aside, Clit also mentioned that he's afraid another server reset may be needed soon to get the game's upcoming features to work properly; so he wasn't in too much of a rush.

Just letting everyone know that Clit's not dead, nor has he abandoned Clanilla. I encourage everyone to drop him a line, either here or on Facebook, and just give him a "hope everything's ok" or such to let him know you're there.

The constant updates that Mojang is making alienates those servers that don't want to restart and I personally find this annoying. However, in the future if we do have to reset the maps again I will try to compensate our members somehow.

As it turns out the server has actually been flipped back on seemingly by itself. I know I have shut it down twice and CC at least once in the past 2 months.

Though multiverse may not be usable, I may have found an alternative for the time being but will need to test it out after the 3-1-12 main world map is uploaded. Even if multi-world functionality is not working I plan on putting the server up for players to use by this evening at the latest.

I've also added in some plugins that should help with server stability and reduce lag when large numbers of players are on. Only time will tell if it actually works though.

Server will be up shortly. Sadly after all the uploading the server requires the maps to be converted into the new file format and since the map is 12000x12000 blocks it is taking awhile.

I tried to log in earlier today and it said I'm not on the whitelist, has the whitelist been wiped as a precautionary measure?

The whitelist got wiped, though I don't know why. I redid it with the names of everyone on the forum member list but obviously that was not everyone. I'll try to log into the console now and reads ya markz0r.

Mark I added ya to the whitelist. If anyone else has a problem post here and I'll re add you. I'll check this thread periodically throughout the day.

Edit: I'm out with the family so I am doing this from my phone. That said you will have to post here or I will not see it.

Edit2: that all said the server is up for use again and all plugins should be working as intended. If anyone encounters any errors let me know here and I will do what I can.

I logged in and the rollback was before all the mining was done on my project. A little over 5 hours of work gone, and I was holding all my enchanted diamond picks, so theyre gone too... This sucks... I dislike notch.

Blade, next time I see you in game we will talk about what I can do to fix what happened.

Yeah doom, I forget how to spell your name exactly. I mean I know its Mistertrioxin, but I forget if there are any zeros in there.

I appriciate it. Also, I got kicked for flying while afk, it's happened a few times.

Ah. No Zeros. "MisterTrioxin" turns out to be one of those rare internet names that no one else uses... except the singer from Mister Monster. I still get some random fanmail for that guy now and then.

Added MisterTrioxin to the whitelist.

I just had the same problem as Blade

I'll need to see what the console log says when it kicks someone since I can't find a configuration file that may be causing a plugin to do it.

I'm not whitelisted either
