I'm throwing myself together a Doom-y HUD and figured I'd post an early screenshot. Right now, it's using mostly Sphaxcraft and some bits and pieces I took from Dawn of War 2 screenshots (plus the item bar sucks), but I think the minimap textures came out pretty badass. I still have to remake the arrows, X's, NSWE, etc. But if anyone's interested, I'll put up the minimap textures for you guys to use!

| Once this is done how hard would it be to edit the HUD if you wanted to use the same premise but with a different design. Say change the grudgy look into something more zelda-like?
Not asking you to actually make a whole second HUD, but if it wouldn't be too hard, just the replacing of some image files, I would love to make another design. Of course this is assuming I can ever find time to | |

| Wasn't too happy with the makeshift bottom-inventory, so here's my mostly finished Doomy one! I have to fix the Selected-Item glow a bit, but that's basically it. I'm thinking of having the XP bar be a glass tube with metal ends and bubbly liquid filling it; and having the Health, Armor, and Stamina icons be: HP- Little Doom masks AR- Little "D" shields ST- Little clenched Doom fists The minimap comes from Rei's Minimap mod. And I supposed it would be relatively easy to make a Zeldy GUI once it's all set. I'll definitely keep that one mind after I finish the Doom stuff. | |

| Okay, finally finished all the main HUD bits! Plus, I made some cool Title menu stuff. Thinking of doing the Inventory, Crafting, etc menus and maybe packing them all together as "vonDoomCraft: HD HUD" or something. If anyone wants to check it out as is, I'll package it together and throw a link up for download! | |

| holy shit, the health is wicked detailed for how small it is, and the bubble freaking say pop, like comic, WOW. The highlighted item in hot bar looks sick too, the green glowing face i think. Im gonna hold off to see what your feeling like doing after this and get it as a whole dealio. | |

| I've changed my mind, now that it's done I do like it and think I'll use it once you give us a link Still think I'd like a zelda one more, and if you are willing to do it im sure you'd do a better job than me. However no rush or pressure on you to do it (once I see the files you pack together I'll be able to look and see if I could do it myself heh). | |

| Just amazing! only suggestion is that the Health,Hunger,and Amour bar When there degenerated it looks kinda bad... but smooth so maybe a very faint image behind it? kinda translucent? idk but the rest is amazing! | |
